Digital Media Rotation

This is a group shot of the Digital Media Rotation class from weeks 1 and 2. They were working on their photography skills as well as many other skills they may already have and are developing, or entirely new skills for them to further develop.

Half Way Done!

At this point in the game, I feel extremely comfortable in the atmosphere here at work. Almost two weeks under the belt, experience has been made and even still to be made! I have learned alot. Experience points more so than anything. Photographing each worker individually and taking group shots of team members. Using photoshop to build my portfolio as well is always good for building a portfolio. A good number of friends or aquatances. A possible graphic design career has already been pretty set on. So this experienc is just building my portfolio. Therefore WIA has been a great resource!

The Field Trip Yesterday

Yesterday was a good experience for our photographers. They learned how to successfully take good photos without having faces of certain people in them; an important part of being a photographer. Being in the feet of a photographer, the trip made it clear that a photographer's job is not as easy as most conclude it to be. They must go to their shooting site, which yesterday had a great effect on our hydration!

All in all...a photographer's job is not as easy as many people tend to think. So don't "take the easy way out" and take a photography class...it's not so easy.

The Weekend

The weekened was a very much desired break. I left friday for my dad's house about a half an hour or so away from my house. My girlfriend came to pick me up, went through our routines and so on.
Saturday morning I woke up, continued to my girlfriend's house to eat breakfast; but we didn't eat breakfast. I ended up eating KFC and she ate Taco Bell on our journey back home for the day to my friend's Graduation Party. I ment his mom and everybody met my girlfriend as well. It turned out to be a GREAT day for an outdoor grad party! I also recieved one of my cymbals (in the mail friday). I was so pumped!

The Cymbal was a Meinl Mb10 Bell Blast Ride Cymbal (Pictured Below)

We drove back home, went to bed waiting for Sunday's sun to rise.
Sunday's sun rose and it was time to start thinking about heading home, but we ended up visiting my sister's new apartment and swimming in their free 3-season pool! The pool's temperature was perfectly balanced. My other sister, my dad, step-mom, cousin, girlfriend and I all went swimming. While at the pool, my girlfriend and I debated about how and when I was going home. After awhile we figured out I was going home after the fair / fireworks. That was a trip. I went with my girlfriend and her two cousin's. I met alot of her friends and left not too long after the fireworks. her female cousin was pulling us all through the crowd at high rates of speed. She is crazy. Afterwords, I basically just went home, went to bed, woke up and am now writing this blog for you! :)

If I was a Billionaire...

If I had the opportunity to b a millionaire, I would divide amoungst my children, but they would still have to "earn" and invest it appropriately. I would live a nice lifestyle, but would try my best to not be overly flashy about it. Would have nice house, cars, clothes, and accesories. I would own a very nice recording studio that would do everything from flyers, logos, t-shirts, and so on for bands trying to get their feet off the ground some. Would probibaly also own a concert theatre of some sort locally and maybe throughout the USA. Lessons would be available to people of all ages wishing to further their musical ability.
